Riyadh:Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi discussed cooperation between Iraq and Algeria in the oil and gas sectors with Algerian Minister of State and Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing joint efforts in the energy sectors of both nations. The talks were part of the events at the World Energy Council conference during Riyadh Energy Week.

Present at the meeting were Ali Nizar Al-Shatri, Director General of the State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO), and Alaa Al-Yasiri, Director General of the Economic Department.
