Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces carried out a large-scale strike last night on facilities belonging to the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, as well as mining and oil refining facilities and ports in several Ukrainian cities and regions.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated in a press release that the attack was carried out using long-range precision weapons launched from land, air, and sea, in addition to attack drones. It noted that the strikes targeted facilities in the capital, Kyiv, as well as Boryspil, Zaporizhzhia, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih, and Ilychivka.
In a related development, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its air defense systems shot down 267 Ukrainian drones in various parts of the country overnight.
