Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Aboudi has reiterated Iraq’s firm and transparent stance on the Palestinian issue.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Aboudi expressed this commitment during a meeting with Samar Awad, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Iraq, held at his office. The National Security Advisory released a statement highlighting that the discussion focused on strengthening the historical and fraternal ties between Iraq and Palestine, alongside addressing various issues of mutual concern.
Al-Aboudi underscored the deep-rooted relations between the Iraqi and Palestinian peoples, characterized by a long-standing history of brotherhood and solidarity. He reaffirmed Iraq’s unwavering and clear position in support of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
Ambassador Samar Awad, in response, lauded Iraq’s supportive stance on the Palestinian cause. She emphasized the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between Iraq and Palestine to serve their shared interests.
