Baghdad: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Fuad Hussein, has formally received the credentials from seven newly appointed ambassadors to the country. These ambassadors are set to commence their diplomatic missions in Iraq, further strengthening international relations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement confirming that Minister Fuad Hussein met with each of the seven ambassadors individually, accepting copies of their credentials. This formal procedure marks the beginning of their diplomatic responsibilities within Iraq.

The ambassadors accredited to Iraq include Jirapon Jirampaekul from the Kingdom of Thailand, Peter Nilsson from the Swiss Confederation, Juliette Gundy from Canada, Jos© Ulises Lescure from the Republic of Panama, Anatoly Glaz from the Republic of Belarus, Jorge Rafael Archela from the Republic of Guatemala, and Ingrid Amr from the Republic of Estonia. The Minister expressed his welcome to the new ambassadors and wished them success in their roles.

Additionally, Minister Hussein emphasized Iraq’s dedication to enhancing bilateral relationships with these nations and exploring opportunities for joint cooperation across various sectors to serve common interests. This gesture underscores Iraq’s ongoing commitment to fostering constructive international partnerships.
