Baghdad: The Iraqi Parliament has adjourned its session until next Wednesday. “Parliament completed the first reading of the draft law on joining the Statute of the Organization for the Development of Women in Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, on Monday,” the Parliament’s Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency – INA.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the statement added that “Parliament also completed the first reading of the draft law amending the Agricultural Materials Trading Law No. (46) of 2012.” The session also involved the first reading of the draft law on public-private partnerships, as included in the statement.
