Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi has announced his commitment to visiting all governorates in Iraq to oversee ongoing projects and evaluate their economic and service conditions. He emphasized the government’s initiative to develop comprehensive plans and policies aimed at elevating the nation’s economic and developmental landscape while tackling existing economic challenges.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office disclosed that Prime Minister al-Zaidi recently met with Ali Shaddad al-Jurani, head of the State Forces Alliance parliamentary bloc, along with other bloc members. The discussions focused on various issues related to economic, service, and health sectors within the governorates. The government is resolute in its efforts to enhance and optimize these critical sectors, which are vital for the country’s progress.

The statement highlighted that the Prime Minister underscored the importance of several draft laws pending approval by the House of Representatives. Among these are the draft laws for the Food and Drug Authority and the Popular Mobilization Forces. These legislative efforts are part of broader strategies to bolster the nation’s infrastructure and governance.

In reiterating the government’s commitment, Prime Minister al-Zaidi asserted the importance of ongoing visits to all governorates.
