Baghdad:Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi met with Amer Boutani, President of the National Democratic Institute (NDI), to discuss ways to enhance the efficiency of legislative and oversight performance.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting covered areas of mutual interest, focusing on institutional development and building parliamentary capacity. Discussions also included programs and activities that can be implemented in coordination with Parliament, aligning with both the Parliament’s priorities and the Institute’s programs and directions.
