Basra: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has appointed sports journalist Ahmed Khairallah as the media coordinator for the upcoming AFC Champions League match between Esteghlal Tehran of Iran and Al Sadd of Qatar, set to take place at the Basra International Stadium.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Khairallah was chosen for his extensive experience in sports media. He has previously served as a media coordinator for Iraqi Stars League matches over three consecutive seasons. In addition, Khairallah has been actively involved in various organizational committees, including those for the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup in Basra, and has contributed to the Gulf media delegations committee, the conferences committee, and the tournament’s preparatory committees.
