Tehran: The Iraqi Embassy in Tehran announced on Monday that the crisis involving Iraqi students in Iran’s Semnan province has been resolved and that they have been granted a one-month leave of absence.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the embassy released a statement detailing the efforts made to resolve the situation. A delegation from the Iraqi Embassy and the Iraqi Cultural Attach©’s office traveled to Semnan province to assess the situation firsthand and monitor the students’ conditions directly. Meetings were held with university officials, Semnan provincial authorities, and other relevant parties to address the repercussions of the incident and ensure the safety of the Iraqi students.

The embassy further stated that the crisis has been fully contained, and the Iraqi students have been granted a one-month leave of absence. This decision is expected to contribute to calming the situation and restoring stability to the university environment.
