Interior Ministry Deports 40 Foreigners for Residency Law Violations


Baghdad: The Directorate of Residency Affairs at the Ministry of Interior announced today the deportation of 40 foreigners who violated Residency Law No. (76) of 2017. These individuals were deported from Iraqi territory via Baghdad International Airport.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was carried out in accordance with the directives of the Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Hussein Al-Awadi. It was supervised by the Director General of Civil Status, Passports, and Residency, along with the follow-up of the Director of Residency Affairs.



The Directorate emphasized that this deportation is part of an ongoing campaign to enforce applicable laws and regulate residency in the country.
