Diyala: The governor of Diyala, Adnan al-Shammari, emphasized the importance of engineering expertise in supporting reconstruction and development plans during a recent meeting with the head of the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate, Zulfiqar Houshi al-Makssousi. He stressed the need to harness local engineering capabilities to implement projects based on professional and technical principles that align with the province’s demand for high-quality and sustainable development.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, the head of the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate expressed a commitment to bolstering cooperation with the local government in Diyala. The syndicate aims to provide engineering support and consultations to benefit the province and its residents, highlighting the importance of unified efforts in enhancing the urban, service, and engineering sectors.

The discussions included various proposals and visions to advance engineering work and enhance its role in the ongoing reconstruction and development process within Diyala province.
