Nineveh plains: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced the capture of a member of the ISIS terrorist group in the Nineveh Plains. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF revealed that a detachment from the intelligence department of the 30th Brigade successfully arrested a member of the ISIS terrorist group, identified only as (B.A.), following precise intelligence and several days of field surveillance.

The statement detailed that the individual was apprehended at one of the entrances to the Nineveh Plains. It was confirmed that he was wanted by the judiciary under Article 4 of the Counter-Terrorism Law. Following his arrest, the necessary legal procedures were completed, and initial investigations were conducted.

The PMF stated that the captured individual has been handed over to the competent authorities to face legal action. This process will ensure that the individual receives punishment in accordance with the law.
