Erbil: Four kilograms of crystal methamphetamine were seized and two suspects were arrested in Erbil. The Karkh Narcotics Affairs Directorate, in cooperation with the Erbil Narcotics Affairs Directorate, conducted the operation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances stated in a press release that the joint operation between the Karkh and Erbil Narcotics Affairs Directorates led to the seizure of four kilograms of crystal methamphetamine. Along with the narcotics, various weapons and ammunition were also confiscated. Two suspects were arrested, one of whom is identified as a highly dangerous individual wanted for numerous cases.

The statement highlighted that the operation was the result of dedicated intelligence efforts and meticulous surveillance. These efforts culminated in the arrest of the suspects and the successful seizure of the narcotics within Erbil Governorate.
