Baghdad: The Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir al-Shammari, has declared September 30th as the commencement of a new chapter in relations and cooperation between Iraq and the international community. This announcement came during separate meetings with the British Charg© d’Affaires, Robin Milton, and the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meetings focused on discussing topics of mutual interest and reviewing developments in cooperation between Iraq and the two friendly countries. The discussions were aimed at strengthening common interests and supporting avenues of bilateral cooperation.

Al-Shammari emphasized the significance of September 30th as the end of the mission of the international coalition forces in Iraq. He highlighted this date as the beginning of a new era in relations and cooperation, which will be based on shared interests and mutual respect. This approach aligns with Iraq’s vision of establishing balanced relations with countries worldwide, contributing to the consolidation of security and stability.
