Baghdad: Osama al-Nujaifi, Secretary-General of the United Party, has decisively addressed circulating reports suggesting his leadership of a preparatory committee for the Sunni community, labeling them as “fabricated reports with no basis in truth.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Nujaifi’s media office released a statement on Monday clarifying the situation. The statement emphasized that various social media outlets and news agencies have been persistently spreading false information about the existence of such a committee, purportedly under Al-Nujaifi’s guidance.

The media office firmly stated, “All of these reports are fabricated and have no basis in reality. Al-Nujaifi, known for his courage and clarity, would not hesitate to issue a statement on any matter that warranted it.” The press release aims to quell any misconceptions and reaffirm Al-Nujaifi’s stance on transparency and truthfulness in public communication.
