Al-Mustansiriya University Positioned as Consultative Hub for State Institutions


Baghdad: During a recent meeting with the Parliamentary Education Committee, Safaa Taqi Al-Issawi, President of Al-Mustansiriya University, emphasized the university’s role as a consultative gateway for state institutions.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the university issued a press release stating that Al-Issawi met with Mohammed Qutaiba Al-Bayati, a member of the Parliamentary Education Committee, to discuss enhancing scientific, academic, and parliamentary cooperation. The discussions aimed at leveraging the university’s capabilities to support national institutions.



Al-Issawi highlighted that Al-Mustansiriya University stands as a reputable scientific institution equipped with experts and qualified personnel. He expressed the university’s commitment to utilizing its graduates and academic expertise to provide specialized consultations for state institutions, contributing to the country’s construction and development efforts.



During the meeting, Al-Issawi reviewed the university’s recently completed projects, including the development of electronic services to streamline student procedures. He shared a comprehensive overview of the university’s strategic development plan, focusing on updating academic programs, refining student admission processes, establishing international partnerships, advancing scientific research, and enhancing faculty professional development.



In response, Al-Bayati praised Al-Mustansiriya University’s development plans and acknowledged its pioneering role in achieving five-star institutional accreditation.
