Dujail: The Governor of Salah al-Din, Mr. Haitham al-Zahwan, officially inaugurated the newly constructed courthouse building in the Dujail district. The event was attended by notable figures including Judge Walid Ahmed Kurdi, President of the Salah al-Din Federal Court of Appeals, and Major General Mustafa Ahmed Habib, the Provincial Police Chief.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Governor emphasized the significance of this inauguration as a key development in supporting the judicial institution in the region. The new courthouse is expected to provide a conducive working environment, which will improve the quality of judicial services available to the citizens and aid in the consolidation of the rule of law.
Mr. al-Zahwan highlighted the local government’s commitment to enhancing the infrastructure of government institutions. He stressed that efforts are being made to create an institutional environment that fulfills operational requirements and serves the people of Salah al-Din province effectively.
In his remarks, Judge Walid Ahmed Kurdi commended the efforts that led to the completion of the courthouse. He underlined the importance of having appropriate infrastructure to facilitate the judiciary’s functions and improve the level of services offered to the public.
The courthouse opening is part of a broader initiative aimed at upgrading the service and institutional framework in the Dujail district, ensuring that the judicial needs of the district and its neighboring areas are adequately met.
