House of Wisdom and University of Karbala Discuss Academic Collaboration


Baghdad: The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the House of Wisdom, Naeem Al-Aboudi, met with the President of the University of Karbala, Sabah Wajid Al-Kuraity, to explore potential avenues for cooperation between the two institutions. The meeting aimed to foster stronger academic and scientific ties.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the House of Wisdom released a statement highlighting the presence of key academic figures, including Hadi Al-Saidi, Dean of the College of Humanities, and Muwaffaq Al-Hasnawi, Dean of the College of Computer Science, during the meeting. The discussions focused on several academic and scientific cooperation initiatives and emphasized the importance of enhancing partnerships between academic institutions and research centers.



Al-Aboudi underscored the necessity of collaborative institutional efforts to advance the academic process. He stressed the significance of prioritizing research and academic activities while supporting researchers to bolster scientific research mechanisms.



Meanwhile, Sabah Al-Kuraity, President of the University of Karbala, commended the pivotal role of the House of Wisdom in supplying students and researchers with scientific studies and research outputs across various fields.



The meeting concluded with a tour of the House of Wisdom, where the delegation was introduced to the institution’s scientific and cultural contributions and the heritage building in which it is housed.
