Baghdad: US President Donald Trump warned against the Democrats coming to power if they win the congressional elections, claiming it would harm the country and destroy all its achievements.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, speaking at a Republican Party conference in Texas, the president explained that “the Democratic Party will destroy everything that has been built if they win the elections,” adding, “If the Democrats come to power, they will destroy everything we have built and ruin our country.”

Trump urged his supporters to participate in the midterm congressional elections, scheduled for November.
