Baghdad: The Supreme Judicial Council announced the marriage and divorce statistics for August 2026. According to the statistics, the courts recorded 21,133 marriages and 5,775 divorces during the past month of August.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the data highlights a significant number of marriages conducted in August, with over 21,000 couples tying the knot. Meanwhile, the number of divorces registered during the same period was substantially lower, with just over 5,000 cases.
