Diyala: A truck loaded with smuggled petroleum products was seized by joint security detachments northeast of Baquba, the capital of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the security detachments discovered eight plastic tanks filled with petroleum products concealed behind a fiberglass and iron wall at the front of the vehicle. The operation led to the arrest of the driver, who is now facing legal actions. The vehicle, along with the seized materials, has been referred to the Baquba Investigation Court. This court specializes in handling cases related to the smuggling of oil and its derivatives, applying the relevant legal provisions to such offenses.
