Khamis mushait: The Yemeni group Ansar Allah, commonly known as the Houthis, declared that it launched an attack on King Khalid Air Base in Saudi Arabia using dozens of ballistic missiles and drones.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the group’s spokesperson, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, released a statement detailing the motivations and execution of the attack. He cited the ongoing Saudi aggression, noting the escalation marked by over 300 raids on Yemeni territory within the past five days. Saree emphasized that the Yemeni armed forces conducted a comprehensive military operation aimed at military facilities and infrastructure at King Khalid Air Base. Targets included warplane hangars, radars, runways, ammunition depots, among others, and were hit with precision.

Saree further mentioned that the operation inflicted significant losses at the base, underscoring the strategic impact of their targeted strikes. The statement reflects ongoing regional tensions and the continued cycle of responses between the Houthis and the Saudi-led coalition.
