Gang Arrested Following $50,000 Heist from Mosul Currency Exchange


Mosul: A gang that stole $50,000 from a currency exchange shop in Mosul has been arrested. Security forces swiftly apprehended the group specializing in robbing currency exchange shops after they were implicated in the theft from a shop in the Mosul stock market earlier today.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, a source in the Nineveh Police confirmed that security forces managed to arrest the gang members in less than an hour following the incident and successfully recovered the entire stolen amount. Legal procedures have been initiated against the accused as preparations are underway to refer them to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
