Iran Denies US Accusations of Involvement in Saudi Oil Pipeline Attack

Tehran: Iran has denied US accusations of its involvement in the attack on the Saudi oil pipeline. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei stated during a press briefing that “Washington is spreading false news and baseless claims to fuel discord among the countries of the region.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, US President Donald Trump suggested that Iran was likely behind the attack, which was launched from Iraq and led to the closure of a vital oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia. The accusation has further strained relations between the two countries, with Iran categorically denying any involvement in the incident.
