Baghdad: French President Emmanuel Macron praised Iraq’s commitment to a balanced policy and its role in building bridges, encouraging dialogue, and promoting regional cooperation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Macron’s remarks were part of a joint statement released at the conclusion of the Iraqi Prime Minister’s visit to France. He lauded the efforts of the Iraqi Prime Minister and the Iraqi government in consolidating weapons under state control, highlighting that this initiative is vital in strengthening the rule of law and consolidating state sovereignty.
