Diwaniyah: The Diwaniyah government has engaged in discussions with the Imam Hussein Shrine regarding the implementation of health projects and the construction of 1,000 residential homes. This initiative aims to provide housing for the poor and needy in the region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Diwaniyah Governor Abbas al-Zamili communicated through the governorate’s media outlet about the discussions with a delegation from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein. The talks focused on mechanisms for implementing several health and service projects, alongside the allocation of land specifically for building the housing units.
Governor al-Zamili further mentioned that relevant authorities have been instructed to expedite the necessary procedures for land allocation. Efforts are being made to overcome any obstacles that may hinder the completion of these essential projects within the governorate.
