Baghdad: Najla Imad, a student at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Diyala University, clinched the gold medal at the French International Paralympic Championships. Her outstanding performance was marked by intense competition among elite athletes recognized at the international level.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Marwa Khalid Jihad, the Director of Media at the College of Physical Education, emphasized that this achievement is a result of Najla Imad’s great effort and high technical and physical capabilities demonstrated throughout the championship. This victory not only highlights her individual prowess but also elevates the name of Iraq in international sports.

Dean of the College, Uday Abdul Hussein Karim, expressed pride in Najla Imad’s accomplishment, noting that it brings honor to Diyala University and their college.
