Baghdad: Oil prices rose on Tuesday in Asian trading, supported by continued concerns about potential supply disruptions. Brent crude futures climbed $1.24, or 1.18%, to $106.93 a barrel, after rising nearly 1% earlier in the session. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also rose $1.29, or 1.24%, to $102.65 a barrel, after gaining 1.3% in the previous session.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the oil market remains sensitive to potential disruptions in supply, which have been driving the prices higher. The recent increases reflect traders’ concerns about geopolitical tensions and their impact on oil availability. The steady rise in prices indicates the market’s response to these supply risks, as traders remain vigilant about potential changes in the global oil landscape.
