Gold Stabilizes Near Its Lowest Level in Over a Month


Baghdad: Gold prices stabilized on Tuesday after hitting their lowest level in over a month in the previous session, as investors awaited the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy decision for clues about its future direction. Spot gold was steady at $4,300.96 per ounce, after hitting its lowest level since August 7 on Monday, while US gold futures fell 0.3 percent to $4,341.10 per ounce.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, among other precious metals, spot silver rose 0.1 percent to $63.28, while platinum fell 0.1 percent to $1,757.46, and palladium dropped 0.7 percent to $1,283.61. Investors are closely monitoring the Federal Reserve’s upcoming policy announcements, which are expected to provide insights into potential interest rate adjustments and their impact on precious metal markets.
