Valencia: Valencia secured their first La Liga victory of the season with a 1-0 win away at Alav©s in Matchday 6. The only goal of the game came in the 78th minute courtesy of Luis Rioja. This was Valencia’s first win after a draw in the opening round and losses in the previous four matches.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, in the opening match of Matchday 6, Rayo Vallecano defeated Espanyol 2-1. The home side took the lead in the third minute through lvaro Garca, who then provided the assist for Adri Pedrosa’s goal in the 26th minute. Espanyol’s lone goal came from Roberto Fern¡ndez Ja©n in the 54th minute. The match also saw Espanyol’s Moroccan player, Omar El Helali, sent off in stoppage time.
