Kohat: The Pakistani Interior Ministry announced on Friday that 17 individuals lost their lives and numerous others were injured following an explosion inside a mosque located at the police headquarters in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police chief confirmed that the death toll from the explosion had reached 17, including six police officers. Additionally, around 40 people sustained injuries. Emergency and ambulance teams quickly arrived at the scene, and investigations are currently underway to ascertain the details surrounding the incident.
