Baghdad:Iranian armed forces have targeted 19 vessels in the Strait of Hormuz over the past two days for attempting to transit through unauthorized lanes.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iranian news agency “Fars” reported that Iranian forces warned the vessels before opening fire on them. The incidents involved seven vessels being targeted last night and twelve the previous night.

Additionally, it was reported that several Iranian cruise missiles and suicide drones were launched from southern Iran at commercial vessels located south of the Strait of Hormuz.
