Sulaymaniyah:Three terrorism suspects have been apprehended in the Sulaymaniyah Governorate by the Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS).

According to Iraqi News Agency, the CTS stated that the arrests were made following judicial orders. The suspects are believed to be affiliated with the terrorist organization ISIS. Two of the individuals had entered Sulaymaniyah on the same day as their arrest, while the third has been residing in the area.

The CTS emphasized that the operation demonstrates the effectiveness of their intelligence efforts and their ability to swiftly address the movements of wanted individuals, thereby preventing them from establishing or reorganizing their activities within Iraq.

The agency highlighted that the Counter-Terrorism Service remains committed to pursuing wanted persons throughout Iraq as a measure to protect the country’s security and stability, as well as to ensure the safety of its citizens.
