Baghdad:The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Commission announced the arrest of 55 suspects and the dismantling of networks associated with terrorism and the banned Ba’ath Party across 12 governorates.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the PMF’s Intelligence and Information Directorate conducted a series of security operations over the past few days, leading to these arrests. The operations targeted networks involved in terrorism, activities of the banned Ba’ath Party, leaking information compromising state security, organized crime, and deviant movements.

The breakdown of arrests includes 23 individuals connected to the banned Ba’ath Party, 6 for leaking state security information, 5 for organized crime, 4 for terrorism-related charges, and 7 for links to deviant movements.
