Baghdad:According to Iraqi News Agency, Iraq is taking steps to repatriate nine Iraqi migrants who illegally entered Libya. Charg© d’Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Libya, Ahmed al-Sahhaf, announced that efforts have been made to locate these individuals, and procedures are underway to verify their Iraqi nationality in preparation for their voluntary return to their families in the Kurdistan region.

The migrants have undergone medical examinations to confirm their good health. Iraqi authorities are also in contact with their families to provide reassurance.

To facilitate their urgent return to Iraq, the Iraqi mission has issued temporary travel documents for the migrants.
