Dhaka:Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Farhad Amin Atroshi engaged in discussions with Clemens Semtner, the Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to Iraq, focusing on enhancing cooperation between the legislative body and diplomatic missions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, which took place on Monday, Atroshi and Semtner explored the general situation on both local and regional levels. They examined ways to improve mechanisms for joint cooperation between the legislative body and international diplomatic missions in Iraq.

The talks also aimed to consolidate the strategic partnership and bolster support for the democratic process, development efforts, and stability within the country.
