Tikrit:The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) have commenced a significant security operation in the area south of Tikrit.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation is being conducted by a force from the 6th Brigade, which is part of the Salah al-Din Operations Command of the PMF. This initiative includes the involvement of the SWAT regiment and the 3rd Emergency Regiment of the Iraqi Army.

The operation was initiated based on precise intelligence. Its objectives are to clear Wadi Shishin, sweep through targeted areas, search suspected hideouts, and establish firm control over the region. This is part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability in the area and to pursue any threats to the province’s safety.
