Washington:US President Donald Trump has issued an executive order exempting Russia from certain sanctions, restrictions, and tariffs that were mandated under the Graham Act.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the executive order specifies that Russia is being exempted from sanctions imposed by the Lindsey O. Graham Act, legislation that targeted both Russia and Iran in 2026.

The White House has stated that Trump informed Congress that this exemption is in the interests of the United States.
