Baghdad:Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Affairs and Legal Affairs, Shorsh Khalid Saeed, held a meeting with Swiss Ambassador to Iraq Peter Nelson at the Ministry’s headquarters. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and coordination at international forums.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting, which took place on Thursday, addressed bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance them. Discussions also included Iraq’s and Switzerland’s priorities for the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, emphasizing the importance of collaboration within multilateral international forums.

Furthermore, the meeting covered recent regional and international developments and their implications for countries in the region and Europe. Both parties stressed the significance of continued consultations and the exchange of views to bolster bilateral cooperation.
