Baghdad:Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, the head of the Reconstruction and Development Coalition, recently held a meeting with Jay Ibrahim, Chairman of KBR, a company known for its expertise in sustainable technology solutions. The meeting was attended by Ibrahim’s accompanying delegation, and it centered on expanding cooperation in the oil, gas, and energy sectors.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions aimed at leveraging KBR’s technical and advisory expertise to develop infrastructure and enhance the performance of strategic projects. Both parties addressed the utilization of associated gas from production operations, the development of oil fields to boost productivity, and the modernization of existing facilities.

The meeting also explored the potential of employing KBR’s advanced technologies and engineering expertise to support plans for advancing the oil sector. Additionally, they discussed the contribution to the completion of strategic projects that adhere to quality, efficiency, and economic viability standards.
