Baqubah:A joint force has initiated a security operation aimed at pursuing high-value targets in the region south of Baqubah, the capital of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation is supported by intelligence units and involves a raid-and-search mission in the sector south of Buhriz and its surrounding agricultural areas.

The operation is reportedly focused on five agricultural zones. The primary objectives are to track down key targets, which include sleeper cells and individuals wanted by the judiciary, as well as to implement a security redeployment plan.
