US Military Reports 100-Day Halt in Iranian Sea Exports and Imports

Washington:The US military has announced that Iran has not exported or imported any goods via sea for the past 100 days, highlighting a significant development in regional maritime activities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, US Central Command revealed that the naval blockade, which has been in effect since its resumption, has successfully prevented Iran from exporting oil valued at over $25 billion. The command further clarified that the only exception to this halt in sea trade has been the allowance of humanitarian aid by US forces.

The announcement comes amid escalating security tensions in the Strait of Hormuz. This strategic waterway has witnessed recent attacks on oil tankers, leading to increased concerns over the safety of commercial shipping activities in the region.
