Kyiv:Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed his country’s eagerness to conclude the ongoing war with Russia as swiftly as possible. In a recent interview with ABC, Zelenskyy emphasized Ukraine’s preparedness to halt hostilities at the earliest opportunity.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the interview, Zelenskyy highlighted that Russian forces currently occupy approximately 19% of Ukraine’s territory. His comments come in the context of continued military confrontations, as well as ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at reaching a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
While Zelenskyy did not detail Kyiv’s specific conditions for ending the war, nor the practical steps necessary for an agreement with Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin has recently mentioned the potential for new discussions about the war. Putin noted that any future talks would need to address security concerns as a key element.
