Baghdad:Moscow The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense forces destroyed 616 Ukrainian drones over multiple Russian regions during the previous night.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry specified that the drones were intercepted over regions including Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kirov, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Smolensk, Tambov, Tula, and Ulyanovsk.

Additionally, drones were also destroyed over the Moscow region, the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Krasnodar Territory, and over the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

In a separate announcement, the Ministry disclosed that it targeted a dry-cargo ship carrying supplies for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the port of Odesa. Furthermore, a factory producing unmanned boats in the port of Chornomorsk was also struck.
