Baghdad: The Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency announced the dismantling of a criminal network and the liberation of three victims in Baghdad.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Agency released a statement highlighting a security operation that showcased the integration between intelligence efforts and the judicial authority. The Directorate for Combating Human Trafficking, under the supervision of the presiding judge at the First Karkh Investigation Court, executed a precise operation in the Karkh district of Baghdad. This operation successfully liberated three victims of human trafficking and dismantled a criminal network involving four suspects.
The statement further explained that these outcomes resulted from intensive intelligence monitoring and obtaining necessary judicial approvals. The Agency emphasized its ongoing efforts to pursue criminal networks and protect victims in line with the law.
