Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested a number of defendants, including an accused of impersonating an official (journalist). The Command stated in a statement that its joint detachments arrested a number of defendants on various legal articles, including two who were found in their possession of (forged seals, and a drone) and another one impersonating a journalist, in addition to seizing a number of weapons and a quantity of unlicensed ammunition, and seizing vehicles and motorcycles violating traffic controls, by setting up “temporary” surprise checkpoints on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa, during the past 24 hours.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation led to the arrest of individuals involved in multiple offenses, highlighting the ongoing efforts to maintain security and enforce the law in Baghdad. The authorities emphasized the importance of these actions in curbing illegal activities and ensuring public safety.
