Diwaniyah: The Director of Water Resources in Diwaniyah, Musafir al-Shibli, has announced a plan aimed at regulating water releases to ensure that allocated water effectively reaches the designated beneficiary areas.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Shibli stated that the Water Resources Department has taken steps to organize the northern al-Hurriya canal. Efforts are underway to remove encroachments along the canal's course. This initiative is focused on securing water delivery to the tail end, which is crucial for maintaining the operation of water treatment plants in different areas.
