Kirkuk (NINA)- Kirkuk Police Chief, Major General Carl Gharib, announced the arrest of a suspect in the murder of a girl, who fled from Sulaymaniyah to Kirkuk.

Carl Gharib said in a press statement: After the accused committed the murder of the girl in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, he fled to Kirkuk Governorate, thinking that he could escape from justice.

He pointed out that coordination took place with the Sulaymaniyah crime control, information collection and investigation about the whereabouts of the accused, and after obtaining the approval of the investigating judge and with a qualitative process, he was arrested and detained in accordance with Article 406 P.C., in preparation for handing him over to the requesting party according to the spatial jurisdiction./ End
