Diyala: Diyala police, in cooperation with intelligence detachments, arrested a man wanted under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law. A statement by the Police Command indicated that detachments from Al-Wajihiya police station, in conjunction with the Al-Wajihiya intelligence division, and under the supervision of Diyala Police Chief Major General Muhammad Kadhim Atiya, and with the follow-up of the Diyala Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Directorate, arrested one of the wanted suspects under the provisions of Article (4) of the Anti-Terrorism Law within their area of responsibility.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrest operation came after meticulous security surveillance and intensive intelligence efforts that resulted in locating the suspect and arresting him, on charges of participating in a number of terrorist operations.

The Police Command affirmed the continuation of its security operations to pursue those wanted by the judiciary, enhance security and stability, and show no leniency towards anyone who attempts to harm the security of citizens.
