Damascus: Veteran actress Mona Wassef is set to make her return to the Ramadan drama competition with the upcoming series “Hilal.” She will be reuniting with actor Taim Hassan in what promises to be another exciting collaboration, following their successful projects in recent years.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Wassef has expressed her enthusiasm about working with Hassan once again. She highlighted the special artistic value of their collaboration, which has previously resonated well with audiences. The Syrian actress shared that “Hilal” will offer a unique plot interspersed with several surprises, although she refrained from disclosing specific details about her role or the storyline to maintain the element of surprise for viewers.

Filming for “Hilal” is scheduled to commence this October in Damascus, aligning with the finalization of production preparations. Wassef has emphasized that the script was the main reason for her participation in this project, indicating her high expectations for the series.
